There were no matters arising from the minutes of the meeting on 23rd April not covered by the agenda.

ChairŐs report

The Chair welcomed all the Volunteers attending the meeting and thanked them for their help and support. There are 53 registered scarecrows at present with four days to go that is considered very good.

Volunteers:  AW covered the timings and locations for the volunteers.  The volunteers were given the opportunity to as questions and to verify their availability.

No further action in regard to the memorial at present.

 

List of prizes issued with books of raffle tickets to the Queen Vic, Windmill, Shoulder and Newsagents.

 

 

Activities:-

All activities covered under item 4 above.  Prizes purchased and will be shared out among the activities/stalls.

 

3 legged walk – `Game PlayŐ rules prepared and available for distribution to walkers on Monday.

 

Car boot sale – on programme.

 

Parade – all last yearŐs vehicles to attend again.

 

Registration forms circulated.  The number of registered Scarecrows now in excess of 50 (see 3 above).

 

Risk Assessment checked and updated – nothing new to add.

Any other business:-

a)    Buckets – distributed to Yew Tree, Queen Vic, Windmill, Shoulder, Newsagents and Farm Shop.  More buckets to be available on Monday for charity 3 legged walk.

 

b)    Banners – locations confirmed and ensure all up now

 

c)    Cake stalls – AW asked if a commercial cake stall could be included.  It was discussed at length and agreed by Committee that it was only appropriate at the Yew Tree Table Top Craft Sale on Sunday.
